"Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." ~Voltaire

Beliefs founded on faith are regularly used to try to justify putting others in harm's way (e.g., "God will take care of us"), the bad things that happen (e.g., "It's God's will"), and doing bad things (e.g., "God commanded it"). I recommend that you ground your beliefs on evidence and reason instead so that you can better prevent bad things from happening and avoid doing bad things.

No One's There To Hear Your Prayers

Q: Of all the countless prayers that have been offered to deities or other unseen forces throughout history, how many have been answered?

A: Zero

Just A Coincidence
